It combines auto-tuning with manual adjustments to set the optimal incident light level and threshold for the connected fiber units. This method is particularly useful for reflective fiber units or setups where background interference may affect detection accuracy .Steps for TuningSet the Mode Selector SwitchSwitch the amplifier to SET mode to begin tuning. This allows the sensor to adjust its internal parameters without triggering outputs .Prepare the Fiber UnitFor reflective fiber units, ensure the workpiece or target is in place if performing with-object teaching.For no-object teaching, remove the target to allow the sensor to calibrate the background light level .Activate Auto-TuningPress the teaching button on the amplifier. The Power Tuning indicator will light, and the sensor will automatically adjust the incident light level to the optimal value .The stability indicator may flash during this process, indicating the sensor is actively tuning.Adjust Optical AxesEnsure the emitting fiber tip is properly aligned with the receiving fiber. By following Method 41, the E3X-HD41 amplifier achieves stable detection, accurate thresholding, and efficient operation, minimizing false signals and maximizing sensor performance .
